Hi all! As you are reading this, I am somewhere in the middle of our beautiful country. This post is scheduled to go live on challenge day, but..........I'm not really here :) My husband is a truck driver, and he got a load to the far East Coast of our country, and I have gone with him! This is so exciting for me, as I have never seen anywhere east of about 5 hours from here! So I am pretty sure I will see all kinds of beauty :) I will share photos on our return!

It sure has been awhile since I posted! Alot has been going on around here, between moving, and being sick! I haven't found time to do any crafting at all!
But this weekend I am doing a craft sale and I need to get some more inventory prepped to go! So today I am gettin my ink on :)
Decided I needed to do some challenges, for some inspiration. My mojo is kinda lacking, so it was a must! First on my list was the sketch challenge posted over at
A great simple sketch, that I used to create this simple Father's Day card. It's plain to see I struggle with masculine....LOL!
Anyway, there ya have it. I crafted. *sigh* I really miss my mojo. COME BACK MOJO!!!

Nothing pink, purple, floral or shiny that would typically be on a feminine card. Mother's Day. Ingredients: Layers, at least 2 patterned papers & metal.

Next up it is Heather's turn to choose the challenge. And I have to tell you, she is so sweet. And kind ;) She kept it nice and easy! Even gave us 45 mins! Not like some evil person I will not mention at this time...

Here is my entry for their challenge........which by the way, is TRIANGLES. And I think mine are fairly obvious.......me and that fussy cuttin' are hardcore FRENemies :)

It's Saturday night. And I am doing one of my favorite things. Crafting! With one of my favorite people! HEATHER!!! YAY!! I think it has been over a year now since we have had some crafty time together! I am so happy :)
It was me who got to pick the first challenge.......and at first I started browsing my monsterous list of challenges. BUT.....I like to get creative even with our challenges. SO.......I shook it up a bit.
I told Heather, "turn to page 23 of the closest crafting catalogue/magazine/book and get CASE'ing! And just to keep it interesting......you have 23 minutes. And at the end of 23 mins post as is!!"
Now, what kind of challenger would I be if I did not join in too! I had to.....
So....here is what I picked to CASE from page 23 of the closest book.....
Now, I love mini cards, but I had to make some changes just to make this a full sized standard A2 card. Cause I need stock. But in the end I messed it up anyway, as you will see in the picture. I believe it may have been the 23 minute time limit. And the hysterical giggles when Heather messaged me and said "I feel like I am on the Iron Crafter or Hell's Craft Room"
I LAUGHED MANIACLLY.........and then paused..........A NEW CHALLENGE BLOG PERHAPS?!?! ;)
Anyway, here is my WAY LESS THAN PERFECT masterpiece :)
I almost pulled it off. *SIGH*
And now, for your viewing pleasure, here is what happens to an otherwise ANALLY organized crafter's desk when ya add a time limit.....

P.S. 23 was a significant number choice, since that is how many sleeps I have left til I get to see Heather again, live and in the flesh. And also her wee one whom I adore.
